Brian Nightengale Advocates for Good Neighbor Pharmacy on Capitol Hill

Brian Nightengale in front of the U.S. Capitol buildingLast week, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) hosted its 11th Annual NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill, an advocacy event where pharmacists, pharmacy students and pharmacy leaders educate Congress and the Administration, seeking support for legislative priorities such as DIR fee reform and provider status. Brian Nightengale, President of Good Neighbor Pharmacy and a member of the NACDS Board of Directors, participated in several key meetings including meetings with Health & Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, White House Domestic Policy Council Director Joe Grogan, Reps. Peter Welch (D-VT), Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Tom Emmer (R-MN) and Morgan Griffith (R-VA). Brian also met with staff representing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Reps. Michael Waltz (R-FL) and Gus Bilirakis, as well as Sens. Rick Scott (R-FL) and Marco Rubio (R-FL).
